# Agent API overview

Appfly has one agent interface: a remote [MCP](/ai/mcp) server at `/mcp` on your Appfly address. For the hosted app this is `https://fly.appfly.dev/mcp`.

- [Authentication](/api/authentication): sign in with OAuth or send an API key.
- [Tools](/api/tools): every tool the server registers, grouped by task.
- [Jobs and exports](/api/jobs): how background work reports progress.

Every tool acts for the account that signed in. It can see all of that account's apps and spends that account's credits.

Tool errors come back as readable messages, for example a plan limit or not enough credits. Anything unexpected returns a short generic error.
