# Promo videos

Open **Promo Video** inside your app. Use screenshots or screen recordings to show a feature, then build the video as a sequence of scenes.

## Create and review scenes

Start with a short hook, show the feature, and finish with a clear next step. Check each scene’s text, device position, duration, and transition.

Use the timeline to review the sequence and play the preview before exporting. Adjust text and backgrounds so they support the app screen rather than covering it.

The Free plan allows videos up to 15 seconds. Solo and Pro allow up to 60 seconds. Export rules depend on your plan.

## Promo video or App Store preview?

A promo for a website or social post and an App Store preview have different requirements. When exporting an App Store preset, run Appfly’s validation and review the current store requirements before submitting.

With MCP, call `validate_video_export` before an App Store video export. Validation does not submit the video to Apple or guarantee approval.
