These examples describe real registered tools. Replace example IDs with values returned by Appfly. They are not ready-made files or promises of a particular visual result.
Create screenshots
Find my app and make a screenshot set from its uploaded screens. Use short headlines. Show me the project before exporting.
The agent should follow this sequence:
get_accountandlist_appsto check the account and choose an app.list_assetsandlist_stylesto choose screens and a style.generate_screenshotsto start generation.get_jobevery few seconds until it returns a finishedprojectIdor an error.get_projectto read the result and text layer IDs.set_textif a headline needs editing.
Example generation arguments:
{
"appId": "YOUR_APP_ID",
"assetIds": ["FIRST_ASSET_ID", "SECOND_ASSET_ID"],
"name": "Launch screenshots",
"canvasPreset": "iphone-6.9",
"idempotencyKey": "launch-screenshots-v1"
}Add a language
Add German and Turkish to this screenshot project. Keep English.
Read the project, then call translate_project once for each language with locale: "de" and locale: "tr". Review both versions. Translation requires a paid plan and uses credits.
Make a promo video
Make a short promo from my uploaded screens, with a feature highlight and a closing message.
Use list_styles, then generate_video. Poll get_job and inspect the finished project. For an App Store preview preset, call validate_video_export before exporting.
For a single moving device shot, use create_mockup_video instead. Creating that project uses no AI generation credits; export rules still apply.
Export a project
Call export_project with a project ID and valid preset IDs from list_styles:
{
"projectId": "YOUR_PROJECT_ID",
"presets": ["iphone-6.9"],
"locales": ["en", "de", "tr"]
}Poll get_export using the returned renderId. Download the files only after the export is done. The links expire after one hour; call the tool again for fresh links.
Use the same idempotency key when retrying the same generation request. Use a new key for a different generation.
